Product arrived in good packaging, no damage or defects. I have used it several times. It is big enough to cover the LB area. Cold lasts longer than 20 minutes. I keep my pack in the freezer and protect my skin with a layer of towel every time I apply it. Direct contact with the skin is definitely not advised. The material feels good. I highly recommend this cold pack.

Nice large size for long torso frame. The covering is nice, but doesn't prevent condensation anymore than an uncovered competitors model. Keeps just as cold for just as long as the other guys. If you want a thinner, flatter cold pack, this brand is for you. If you want fat with more flexibility, go with the Chattanooga product. I have them both an have done temp comparisons and cold retention and there is no appreciable difference. Good quality made in Tiawan.

I really like this gel pack because it is easy to shape around any area, we have used it for neck pain, knee pain, back pain and even on my belly after I had a surgery.
It seems to get cold quickly and stay cold for quite a while.
I really like the fact that it doesn't sweat and you can put it directly on your skin without feeling like you are getting a cold burn from it.
We store ours folded in the freezer all the time so it's ready when we need to use it.

Flexible and wraps around calf easily

I have a gel cold pack similar to this one that I had to secure around my calf and it is thicker so more difficult to keep in place while I wrap a towel around it to keep it firmly around my calf. (Also cover it with hand towel first). This cold pack is easier to conform to the shape of my calf allowing me to secure it better. However it has about half the amount of gel substance in it so doesn't stay cold for as long (about half the time). I no longer need to "ice" my calf very often as strain is almost healed but I find that I like this gel pack for my lower back pain better than my other gel pack...the fact that it stays cool for a shorter time period means it warms up to a more comfortable temperature for me (my other gel pack is almost too cold even when covered with a towel). I've switched to using this gel pack when icing my back which I need to do twice a day. Would recommend unless y want super cold temperatures.

Love this cold pack. I had knee replacement surgery and these have been so helpful. The standard size is really large and covers a wide area. I have pain all up and down the leg. I use one underneath and the other on top. Moving them up and down as needed. They get very cold in the freezer and stay cold out of the freezer for hours. I've gone to sleep and taken them off only to wake up hours later to put them back on and they're still cold. Really recommend this product. Like the material that they are made of, they are easy to clean. The photos show that I have to put towels over them because they get so cold!
