Made of weak plastic

Do not get this if your dog has strong teeth and is an escape artist. My dog was was able to chew his way out of it the second time we put him in. I'm terrified to think of what would have happened if we had used this for a flight. He would have escaped from the crate and god knows what else. The plastic on this crate is made of a weak material, so we had to buy a sturdier one.

The kennel was of good quality, but there is no way a 20 pound dog could ever be comfortable in it.

"24" 10-20LBS" is misleading. This kennel is FAR too small for my 15 pounds and 8-week old puppy. I ordered it going by its weight recommendation and it almost caused me a huge headache at the Airport. i.e. denied me for shipping. luckily the fog was slouching and its head was .5" from the top when it was standing normally. The second one of this size I ordered I simply returned. No sense in risking it a second time.
I wouldn't go over ten lbs when rating this crate. The ver build quality was fine. It went together like many other kennels. What attracted me to this item in the first place was the reviews and the price. I ended up having to buy a 50.00 kennel on short notice after the second one of these arrived. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because other than not being accurately described i.e. too small it wasn't poor quality. Maybe this review will help save someone's day at the airport.

Very small for 26" crate. Using for my 3 month old English bulldog puppy I will need to buy a bigger one in 2 months but for now it works fine. It arrived in defective condition but you can tell it was manufacturing defects it was not packaging or Amazon's fault. For a reasonably affordable crate it was worth the price.
