I just installed this on an old Ramsey 8000lb worm gear winch. The actual measurements are 7-7/8" mounting surface to the end of the motor body. The bolt circle is 4". The alignment ring is 3"OD and about .175" thick. The motor body is 4-1/2" OD. And the shaft is 3/4" OD and slotted for a half moon key. All these are actual measurements that I took off of mine because Db electrical was USELESS and had NO idea what any dimensions were. Hope this helps. Also, make sure if you are using this on a winch, to seal EVERYTHING on this motor. It is NOT at all sealed from the factory so as soon as you go in the water/mud/rain you will be filling up this motor!

I had to modify my brackets because this motor was just a little larger than the old one, but the difference in power was well worth the work! This motor seems to have more power, and runs a bit faster than the old motor, even when the old motor was in good shape.
