Top shelf is bowed
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•January 10, 2018
I like it, but I'm only giving it 4 stars because one bar popped out of the orange plastic cap when I went to attach the shelf, and the very top bar seems like it is too wide, which is making the top shelf bow so bad that it doesn't want to fit right. All the bars were the same size and the shelves were all the same as well, so I don't know why the top tier is bowing unless it's just that the bar across the top is too long. The unit is a little too wide for the space where I want to keep it in the bathroom, but it will have to do. I have it together now, and not going to attempt to take it apart. After I do laundry and see how well it holds up, I'll post back.
So pleased I'm writing a review with pics

I just made this (while chatting on the phone. Probably took 30 mins. I wasn't trying too hard. Didn't need to read the instructions. Images were good enough).
- if 100% is a German made during rack, I'd give this a 73% for quality. Sure there's plastic, but I think this will last for a while, especially if I take care of it.
- why I think I love this rack is because it's SO versitile! Look at my pics! Think of a setting where you can't use this rack! It's so easy turn the rack into what you need. If you just need a long pole to hang lots of clothes on clothes hangers you can! If you want to dry towels you can move the bottom racks down. Or just do it to one side.
Just note that I did need a hammer to get all the poles in. I had a rubber cap in the end of my hammer to protect the frame. A strong person wouldn't need a hammer.
I would totally recommend this rack. Washing is not my friend so I overthink how I can be more efficient. And before you think, chuck your clothes into a dryer, I can't think of a good enough reason to if the sun is shining outside.
Ps. If I become less pleased with the rack then I will write, otherwise assume I'm living a blissful life with my air dried clothes.

Worth it. Makes hanging laundry less frustrating.

If you hang dry most of your clothes and have a good amount of clothes per load, then this is a great buy. I replaced 2 crappy collapsable hanging racks with bars that kept popping off when trying to stand them up or collapse them. The assembly was really easy - you do need a mallet for popping the bars into the rack and you'll want to tap it until you hear a pop/click when the orange piece has made it through to the right depth. I found it helpful to put the bars in by hand on both sides and standing them up, moving from one end to the other, tapping them into place and then flipping it around to tap the other side into place. The racks are adjustable to the heights you want them, which is super nice, and you just pull out to fold the rack down. You also get about a dozen of these small orange hooks that look like anchors that I use to hang laundry bags on to dry out. It's pretty light weight and I can the rack with close on it if I need to move it outside (though it's easier if someone helps with the other side if you have stairs). The wheels roll nicely. The wheels also fold inward as do the hanger attachments for a smaller profile as well. It fit perfectly in my laundry room between the wall and a folding table. I holds a lot of clothes though it's best to balance the weight to keep it sturdy. My only complaint is the metal bars in the racks are really easy to damage with a fall because they're thin metal. While it's pretty sturdy against normal fans, outside on a windy day, it can fall over if not balanced properly. The first time I used it on a windy day, it had a fall and two of the bars got a big dent on them. It still functions great though and it's way better than those cheap collapsable racks. Certainly worth the price.
I really like, and I spent a ridiculous amount of time ...

UPDATE: When I originally set up the rack one of the clips broke when I put it together. After posting my review the company immediately shipped me off a replacement (and I forgot to update my review until now- sorry!). Well, I have now been using the rack regularly for 7 months and continue to LOVE it. In fact, I was recommending it to my mom over the holidays as I was hanging clothes on her clothes rack, which was held together with packaging tape.

I really like, and I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching drying racks after my last one fell apart.
It was the perfect size for my space. I like how I can just use a small section if I only have one or two items to dry. But, it has the capacity to dry a lot of clothes when you need it. I did not find it difficult to put together.
Raising and lowering the shelves takes more wiggling and patience than I would like. I have to hold the unit with one hand and wiggle and pull out one side of the shelf and then do the same with the other side to adjust.
I plan to contact the company, but one of the orange locking clips on the base broke when I put the unit together.

The people who said the rack was difficult to put together are idiots. If you can't figure this thing out, you shouldnt be procreating and making dumb babies who grow up to be morons like their parents. I put this together in under 10 minutes listening to a rogan podcast after smoking pot. Good product for the cash.
