On the advice of a few websites and a local veterinarian, we began giving a pill a day to our Great Dane Bull post surgery to fix torn ACL's in both hind legs. I was a little apprehensive at first as how could something so inocuous make his slight limp go away that was caused by pretty traumatic injuries, but low and behold, it worked! I'm not saying it's magic in a bottle, but the difference is night & day compared to prior to taking the pills. He's now running with ease, the limp is gone and he's never looked better. If you're looking for some post surgery help with leg injuries for your pup, this is where I would tell anyone who asked to start.

I have to give this stuff five stars. Of course it is difficult to fully test or explain the outcomes of taking this stuff, but per the pain that I have experienced in my right-knee area since January 12, 2016, as far as I can tell, this stuff has alleviated 100% of pain and stiffness. I am 55 years old and have been active all my life in sports with karate, swimming, and weight training. I am fortunate to have very good knees but in January of 2016, I woke up with serious knee pain in my right-side knee. After talking to my doctor, it was a probable issue with a meniscus tear, so I began taking it easy and making sure I was stretching each morning and throughout the day and before hitting the gym and pool. I took time off from kicking the bag and any form of karate. in short, I bought two bottles of the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel 500 mg 60 Caps and after about one month, the pain began to slowly subside. Now two months later, the pressure in my right-side knee is completely gone also. And in fact, it feels as though I never had a problem in the first place. About two times a week I also take Nature's Way Alive! Multi-Vitamin Citrus Flavor Liquid after dinner and Trace Minerals Liquid Ionic Boron, 6mg, 2 oz. Both of these helped moderately but never long-term. The only thing that has helped me long-term and permanently is this lipped mussel supplement. I am very surprised with how well it has helped me also. Knowing that this is the main ingredient with a well-known but very expensive product being sold on t.v., I am glad that I found this version and I will be ordering again.
31 July 2017, today I received my second order of two bottles. This stuff has relieved my knee pain to zero within the past month. Last Friday I did some karate training and kicked the bag at my gym for one full hour and I did not feel any residual pain the next day. I am working out more at the gym with leg presses and more swimming. Yesterday I mowed my neighbor's lawn and my lawn, about 7.5 miles of walking according to my phone app. Today there is zero pain or tightness. Any other product that I have taken helped with the pain, but it was short-lived. Nothing has worked as well as this product.

Ok I have been using this product for my 13 year old female pit who was diagnosed with severe arthritis all in her back. She had been showing signs of constant pain and so much panting especially after her walks and which had to be cut short because she would have to lay down in the middle of them and just rest so we took her to the vet they did an xray and then gave us rymadel which made her vomit it up, to hard on her system. So they put her on tramadol which helped some what. So in the mean time I started doing research for something natural and good for her and two months ago I found these the green lipid muscles and wow what a difference in her. She has stopped all the panting and runs more and is playful again. She does still get stiff an sore sometimes so I massage the magnesium oil and an arthritis cream for dogs on her just about every day up until lately because she is getting better and better everyday now. I don't even have to give her the tramadol near as much as I was in the beginning. I am so thankful for this product for it has given us our beautiful animal back from all the suffering she was going through. As anyone knows that is torture having to watch in the beginning our fur babies suffering. So thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this product it works! Just so you know it started working around the second week really good. I give her two capsules sprinkled in her food with bone broth to hide the taste and smell, it is very pungent and she did not like it so I add the bone broth which is very good for joints and arthritis as well and she laps it up! I also took her off carbs, grain, corn and soy two years ago and give her pink himalayan salt in her water for her muscles to helps with spasm she gets in her hind legs. She is doing so much better now. I hope this helps someone who is where I was in the beginning of her suffering. Please try it!

Wonderful product. Has a slight fish smell but not bad. Swallowed it fast did not have any fish taste as others reported. I have Multiple Sclerosis and have been in 2 serious auto accidents and this took away all my pain only after 2 days 1 cap. each day.. this really works. I paid full price and this is an honest answer. I am a former now retired Consumer Reports Tester

Both my dog and I had significant knee surgeries and we both started taking these during our recoveries at the suggestion of the vet. It is of course difficult to ascertain cause and effect of a supplement, but my 9 year old dog is now running around like a puppy and I'm hiking at 10,000 -12,000 elevations on rough terrain with no knee pain. So it can't hurt to try it.
