Boring. Yes, boring. It fit the pipe, and threaded onto the hose. Just like it was supposed to. Boring. I love boring when it comes to most plumbing fittings. A little pricy, honestly, but I didn't have to drive to the store to get one (the major hardware store here have them a few bucks cheaper). Given my busy life at the time, it was worth it. YMMV. Worked great.
