So I just broke 2 ribs and was worried about my dog jerking me or chasing a rabbit like he does all the time. Jerk -Ease really works awesome...protects me and my dog. I would recommend this to any dog owner big or small. So simple but it works and is well built with quality products. I use this with a retractable leash and it is controlling but not "abrasive" to my dogs neck like I was before. Give these guys a try..worth the affordable cost for sure.

It Works. I have the medium Jerk-Ease on a 16 foot Flexi Retractable Tape attached to a 2 year old 50lb Catahoula. It was tested immediately upon leaving the house encountering a large cat in the bushes. The Jerk-Ease saved my elbow and the dogs neck, and the cat managed a getaway. I have been "walking" him forever on a standard "Zip Leash" and since this is a fun walk and not about training I didn't want to use some the other more restrictive devices. I modified a bungee cord a while back but it was too springy and too long for efficient use. This product seems a little stiff but actually is just right for my "Rowdy" critter. I may consider using the Jerk-Ease with a soft harness to slow him down a little more and still utilize the shock absorber

OMG I wish I had this eons ago so my shoulder wouldn't hurt so much. Plus I worried about my dog breaking her neck. It's a simple little bungee cord you hook onto any leash - for a Flexi-leash it's great, because our Treeing Walker Coonhound runs it out to the end every time. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is the price seems a bit high for such a simple device.

The product works fairly well. When used as intended. Mainly on a leash. But as they tell you on the product page, and the wrapping. Dont use with a tiedown. My 85 pound German Shepherd, busted the Large ( up to 110 pound ) one. Running past me, on here 40 foot tiedown. Chasing y neighbors dog.
The seller is more than willing fix/replace broken products if needed. Though I am going for the refund rout. But would prolly grab another in the future. If I really needed one again.

I absolutely love this Jerk-Ease. Because when she goes out the back door she is in Hi gear trust me she will just about Jerk you down but with this product you won't have that trouble. I recommend this to anyone that has a speeding dog when it's potty time.
