I'll add my voice to the chorus saying that the dial and level mechanism feel delicate. The level feels no stronger than one you'd find on a spray bottle of formula 409, so I'm concerned it might break off. The safe itself seems solid enough. I can't vouch for its protection against fires, and knock on wood, I'll never be able to.

I needed another safe and this one is perfect because of the extreme quality and fit. There are no holes in it to mount it to the floor or wall so I epoxied it to the top of another safe, below it!

I had the same safe with a digital keypad. I am so glad to have an all mechanical door. Over the years, I had issues with the solenoid that unlocks and locks the safe. The only complaint I have is that the dial is very noisy. There is a click at every increment on the dial. If not for that, I would have given the safe a 5 rating.
