I will rate economy and comfort down here a it wont let me in the rate features. The pricing is about right for the value that you get. It doesn't take to much honing and buffing to bring them to mirror finish and "Wicked Sharp". The comfort level is very good as palm carvers should have. In softer wood you can carve a long time without cramping.

These come sharp and with a little honing become razors. The v shape gouge I had to recut and sharpen. It was ill shaped. For the money, the quality is outstanding! Made in the USA! It sure beats $40 each piece or so for the high end German or Swiss. I have a deep 1/4" cut on my index finger from lightly bumping the corner of a just honed flat gouge. My fault of course. They really do hone very well! The FlexCut SlipStrop is what I used to hone these. I highly recommend it. These were not free. This review is for items I paid list price for. These were worth every penny I paid!
