So cute!! Bamboo plant look healthy. The planter is just too shallow, hoping the plant will thrive in it..
The planter is too shallow - not even 1 inch deep. Its a large bundle of Bamboo- not able to plant well.

I had the opposite problem of the others who wrote negative. The Bamboo was nice and green but TOO large for the planter. The little bowl on the elephants back is not even 1 inch deep. Its quite shallow so there is no room for the bamboo to anchor itself. I tried using a little soil and pebbles- no luck. I am sadly going to have to find artificial bamboo for my pot. The roots are not able to be covered. I do not understand why they make such a large pot and make the planter so very shallow. I am a plant person and this is the first time I have ordered online. Next time I will stick to ordering in person. I just really loved that happy, adorable elephant.

This cute fella is nicer than the pictures for sure! Great detail, and excellent quality.
* Ceramic is of excellent quality: Colors are vivid, and glaze is smooth without flaws.
* The lucky bamboo stalks are lush and green: Just as the picture shows, and they are packed with a special gel at the roots that keeps them fresh.
* They even include a bag of small river rocks that anchor the plant in the tray .. they thought of everything.
* Packaging is ultra safe, and assembly is a piece of cake.. great gift... no worries.
