It would have been a 5 star if I could ...
Henry H. Wong•March 9, 2018
It would have been a 5 star if I could have used it. I had needed 1/2" outlet coupling and I thought it stated as such. If I had read the reviews I would have read that these are 3/4" outlet coupling for 1/2" lines. This was a replacement. Because all my fittings were 90 degrees with no wiggle room, the coupling need to be exact fit.
A well priced and quality product.

I used this on a remodeling project and I couldn't be happier. It is a well-built product and was easy to use. It has cold water inlet on one end and a cold water outlet and hot water return on the other end for the water heater. It is better priced than comparable products. I plan on buying them for all my plumbing projects.
rendering it useless. Wish I had never bought it

They practice deception when they fail to sell the necessary hardware for hookup, making this more expensive than it seems. The material also cracked on installation, rendering it useless. Wish I had never bought it.
Get one that is all metal.

Wasn't sure at first...then completely hooked!

I am in the process of what started out as a basic cleanup of a 1950's house that we bought to basically gutting the whole thing due to rodent damage and the hundreds of shortcuts the previous owner took with plumbing, electrical, and well...just about everything else.
I decided to use PEX instead of CPVC... and I am happy with my choice. Easy to install, crimp rings are a phenomenal thing and easy to install... so when it came to distribution, I decided to get two different manifolds...this one and a larger one for the other side of the house. I may not use all of the ports, but it does allow me to add a fixture/ feature one at a time without ever disrupting another. For example I have a sink with hot and cold water, an outside spigot, and toilet...adding in the shower was great as I never had to "cut in" and add the branch. The reverse holds true too-- have an issue with something? Turn it off...and only it. Makes easier work of things and also being labeled I can easily label each port.
