I wasn't 100% sure about this system from some reviews, but I ended up hitting the JACKPOT!!! I was in the market for a new manifold system, as I had maxed out the ports on my old copper manifolds (I had three of them in service). We are about to start a bathroom addition and didn't have enough ports. Well, after months of debate between products and name brands I settled on this bad boy. Ho-ho-holy balls is this manifold system awesome! The only thing that doesn't come with this manifold are the threaded brass fittings you can find right here on Amazon. I had mis-ordered the fittings, as my supply lines are all 1" and I ordered 3/4". NBD (No Big Deal).
On this particular Manabloc, I had soft water coming in at the bottom fitting, then exiting the top-right fitting over to my hot water heater. The top-left fitting is my supply from my hot water heater. I was able to apply water pressure at this point without any fixtures installed. Wonderful! One-by-one I was able to install, label, and dress-up each line as I went. I have no regrets and wonder why I waited so long to give this well-built manifold a try.
I HIGHLY recommend this product, and I'm still giddy about the whole experience.
***UPDATE***
I noticed water collecting/dripping out of one of my vacant connections. Found out the valve stems are replaceable. Called Viega 800-976-9819 and they sent me replacement valve stems with the removal tool at no cost. Replaced stem and in ten minutes I was back up and running! I'm overjoyed with the interaction with Viega's warranty support.

Great manifold for lots of fixtures, should come with the wrench and metal adapters though.

Works fantastic! Template and clear instructions came in the box. I didn't bother with the Viega brand mounting straps. I just made a bracket out of 2x4's that attaches to my joists in the basement. Came with labels and everything for each fixture. This review and model is for the crimp on adapters for each fixture. My only complaint with this is that if you follow the included template for drilling 3/4" holes for each hot and cold line, you have to feed the pex through to the manifold, THEN crimp on the nipple before attaching it. So now you can't pull the line out from the 3/4" hole anymore. If I had to do it again i'd just drill larger holes to fit the crimped fitting and all.
We no longer get a pressure drop when using multiple fixtures at the same time. Part of this is I upgraded my main line from the water meter to 3/4" all the way to the manifold(Not sure what bozo thought 1/2" for everything was best), but part is also not having things daisy chained off of each other. Water supply isn't prioritized by the first item in line anymore.
Only issue I can see is that it SHOULD have come with the wrench and metal fittings that I had to order separately for the larger connections on the top and bottom.

The attached picture is when I had everything hooked up and was testing connections. I made my runs neater and attached the labels for each fixture afterwards. For now I adapted the 3/4" feed/main lines for the main and hot water to 1/2" until I install my tankless setup. My hot water tank only has 1/2" input and output lines. I'll also be adding a few more fixtures once another bathroom is added to the house, and sinks are added in the basement and garage.

Pros/Cons: Not plastic... No manual... Used?

Pros: All outlets are 1/2. Theoretically, could get 15 gpm to any outlet. Most plumbing works with 1/2. Made out of poly. Cons: Ports are not brass. Includes a 5-page, so called manual.
The manual from Viega's is a double edge sword because it's made for Viega products. Good read. The real manual is 90 pages, but seems to be heavily featuring their products, no "standards". Made easy to install, and strange enough - the 24 port exactly fit our home... The hot and colds were spit perfectly. Instead of 12hot/12cold... I ran a single pipe to every fixture without having to split once, they nailed that one. The "made out of plastic" thing can be argued, similar manablocs made out of brass seem to have lower ratings. I'm also pretty sure I was given a used model from NYDirect, my manabloc was wet inside. For anyone who purchased, make sure you rip the caps and feel the inside to verify the product is dry. Now i'll have to test for leaks and file a claim if that is the case.

Love it!

I have purchased this before to put in a house and I just purchased again for a different house. I absolutely love this and I love that I can isolate a specific area, rather then being forced to cut all water. It's pretty easy to install. It is a little on the pricey end for someone like me, but I still think its worth it. Do not forget to purchase the 3/4" supply adapters or you will be purchasing it later! Gotta have those and you cannot use a regular adapter.
Upgrade your home plumbing

Having to redo my homes plumbing and not being a plumber was a little daunting at first. But this manifold and the pex piping/system made it actually a enjoyable experience. Its like a fuse panel for your house water, need to work on bathroom shower but want to keep toilet/sink? no problem just cut the shower line off.
