Very happy with these cases. They're a little hard to open, but that's because they close firmly. I suppose that with lots of opening and closing, the plastic would eventually wear out, but it seems sturdy enough for my purposes, which are mainly storage. The drive fits reassuringly snugly within the case, but with enough clearance that I was able to keep the drive wrapped in the anti-static foil baggie. If I had desiccant packs there'd be room to add one of those.
