Usable but INCONSISTENT
I've ordered these round pieces 3 times and they have been different every time. the 1st and 3rd had hard unfinished edges, the 2nd batch had smooth rounded ones, which were a total surprise and made my product inconsistent from the 1st batch, so I had to make up a NEW product. Then I ordered the 3rd time and they were like the FIRST batch! so WTF people!! some consistency please!

I wanted (and expected, since you changed it up on me in the 2nd order) the rounded ones the 3rd time for my NEW product! NOW it's back to hard edges, so I can't make the 2nd product I came up with and have to go back to the first. who knows what it will be if I order a 4th time? ! I think I'll just quit making stuff. Why BOTHER. Returning anything thru amazon from these places is not even worth the effort because of the high return shipping.

I'd also like to find an American MANUFACTURER of the wooden pieces i need. not just an American DISTRIBUTOR of Chinese products.

I can just as easily order from China direct and I have, but it takes longer, costs more to ship, (DOUBLES the per piece cost) and quality control either way, ie- from the Distributor of these mass produced Chinese products or the Manufacturer of these mass produced Chinese products, is only at 80% not 100%.

The woodpeckers wooden circles are very easy to work with. I was able to drill them with no problems and create earrings with them. The circles are also easy to paint with and apply any type of fabric I wanted to use to create my earrings with. Not only that, but the circles are very sturdy.

Bought these little blank wooden circles for guests to decorate at our wedding and then decorate our first Christmas tree with since we got married a week before Christmas. I just drilled a small hole to attach an ornament hook, which was very easy.

So now, we have memories of our guests forever and something personal from each of them every year. Granted, we lost a few because our dogs found them to be quite the chew-satisfactory treat. Thankfully neither of them swalled the ornament hooks.

These are AWESOME! I want to give them 6 stars. I use these for pyrography projects (woodburning) and they continue to work well.The price point is excellent and the quality of the wood is surprisingly good. They stack together perfectly, and smell just like recently cut wood. The only drawback seems to be a little bit of boating when they're heated or get wet; but I think that has to do with the size of the wood more than the piece itself. My only concern is these won't be available when I use them up.

These work great in a 40w laser. Attached is a GeoCoin I was attempting to make with it. I'm still perfecting the aiming and centering of the engraving and doing dual sides. They are circles, it looks oval due to the angle.
