Nice, if this is your primary light by sure you're on top of your charging. The battery option (with rechargeable AAs) may be better if you're in a pinch.

This model is so old that most of the lithium batteries do not work anymore! I charged the dang thing and the battery was still dead. This was my second try/second purchase because I loved this light in the past. I contacted the company and the sales rep told me the same info I stated above. He was nice enough to let me ship this model to him and replaced it with their new model! DO NOT BUY....

Really I didn't expected so much power for such a small light.
Outsdanding rechargeable light, plus the intensity didm't vary throughout the use of the battery which was very good. In the night while on the road it looks like the light of a small motorcycle it is very powerful. Apart from this it also has some cool fast flashing modes and the range of the beam is broad enough to cover not only the center but the sides too so if you are riding in your local trail at night, this should certainly be good enough.
