... son for Christmas and he has had so much fun playing with it
Amanda Ast•January 15, 2018
Bought this for my son for Christmas and he has had so much fun playing with it! We had thought that it be be able to get dirt in it to pretend that it was cement, but it looks like this was just a little hole and wasn't intentional. Still works really well though.
Five Stars

The litmus test will come on my grandson's 2nd birthday in two weeks!
Good, durable toy but mine had flaws

First of all, it's not friction powered as advertised. Secondly, it came missing a wheel-cap as can be seen in the photo. As the cap is a small piece, it could be a choking hazard. So, we searched the box for it thinking it had fallen off during shipment. It wasn't there, so it had been shipped incomplete. But the missing piece didn't stop my child from liking it. The toy is his favorite. The truck is a little sturdier than others in it's class, like Tonka. That makes it better for the younger ones. And my (under 2 years-old) toddler does not mind that it has no flashing lights or electronic noises. It glides across the floor very smoothly and I think younger ones would have more fun with push power than friction power. Also, the drum spins with either with the crank or by spinning it directly by hand, another plus for very young kids.
Well worth the money for child under 8

Great toy, built well and survives some rough play from my 4 year old son outside in the dirt. FYI- Does rotate, but does not allow you to put items inside the barrel. Also allows you to turn the pour spout, but does not connect to anything to actually "pour" it out. Would definitely recommend, just adding additional information as those were some things my child noticed.
Sturdy well constructed toy. Takes a beating from my toddler.

This is the second one of these we purchased. We bought one for our son for his birthday, and his best friend loves it, so we got him one for his birthday as well.
The construction of this toy is very well done. it is sturdy and takes a beating. (our son sent it down the stairs). He is 3 and is able to put his weight on it (by leaning on it) and push it around the floor. (this demonstrates that it is constructed well and is sturdy).
I would recommend this toy to others. We keep it indoors so I can not speak to how well it does outside in the elements, but it does take a beating inside.
