Fast ram, installed in a Refurbed HP 8300 mini tower that had 4x2GB of Kingston. Running 8+2GB in each bank for a total of 20 GB, no problems other than the Kingston being 1333 MHz slowing it down slightly. Will replace the Kingston with more of this when money is available.

Seems to work just fine with my Asus Z-97C motherboard, not too tall (so it doesn't interfere with my CPU cooler) and perfect for simple closed case builds. Black heat sinks make it blend in if that's what you're looking for. Retail packaging came with Patriot's Viper stickers too, which was an unexpected nice touch.

These works great with the first set that i purchased, now with quality 32GB, my machine flies, next is bumping up to 64GB, stopping there, lol, seriously great dependable sticks for the low price, highly recommended for gamers

Love it! I have a old PC I built. 4x4gb Corair sticks was in it but couldnt keep up with Fallout 4 VR. Bought Patriot for the price and the timing is equal to the Corsair sticks. Works flawlessly no error messages while playing Fallout VR

We purchased 2 sets of 2x8GB Viper III DDR3 1600MHz for our AMD FX-8350/Asus motherboard; this was sold by Highly Anticipated Electronics, fulfilled by Amazon.com. This model/make of RAM appears to be the equal of many quality brands we've used over the past 20+ years and in two months of operation, we have no regrets..

To be sure, we wanted to make the jump from 16 to 32GB for some time, but waited for a sale to come along. Since the trend is afoot to be rid of the DDR3 platform, we felt the time was now or never. The PC flies at warp speed as expected so if you've been sitting on the fence, go ahead, make your day and treat yourself to all the tabs and programs you care to have running at once (gamers, YMMV). Have loaded the machine down with video/blu-ray rendering, many tracks of music production work, digital photography layers, with browser and email going at the same time. Very nice upgrade from 16-32GBs. very-very nice indeed.

At times we've forgotten exactly how many were running until the system was shutdown at the end of the day. Have owned other Patriot ram in the past, so recommend this Patriot product and the life-time guaranty whole-heatedly.
