I saw a lot of reviews saying this was hard to click together. I experienced the same frustration at first! The key is to use a hammer and cardboard as a buffer. Fold a piece of the packaging cardboard over to create a soft buffer where you are hammering so you don't break the plastic! The parts click together easily this way.

This is a big piece which we knew. Yes you have to put it together but we didn't have any issues. Placing the bottom piece took some to get on but we managed.
Now the hooks. They are not easy to remove. You have to pry them off. With that in mind you might break them. If you're using this for pop up events remember you can't take it apart. It's light so way to move. Let's see how it holds up over time.

As others have mentioned, it is very tricky to put together. Once you figure out the little tabs go inbetween the clips, it gets easier. Once built, it's not meant to ever be taken apart, so consider that if using for pop up events. It's quite large to transport, but very lightweight. Overall, I am pleased with item. I'd buy smaller if I was to buy again, but I'll be able to make use of this larger size. I have hooks from Paparazzi that fit perfectly. Really like the spinning base!
