Awesome for camping!

Ok, so It wasn't my idea, but I saw someone else's who had a similar setup and had to make my own. I do a lot of tailgate grilling, especially at work. I find this to be absolutely awesome to keep your spices in. I keep them in a Vanquest gear pouch, and lovingly call it my "TSP" or Tactical Spice Pack. These preforms are virtually indestructible and so far do an excellent job at keeping both liquids and dry spices stored in a bag until ready for use.
Leak-proof, Watertight, and indestructible

Indestructible, watertight, and well made. The caps seal very well and don't leak. I'm very happy with them. I needed something that can handle powders and liquids without worry that they will break or leak. Overall, very happy with them. If you want them to stand on their own, you can turn it upside down and they are pretty stable and won't fall.
Perfect for Density Columns

I really wanted the larger transparent soda bottle preforms but they were going to take longer to ship. I ordered these because they would come in a couple of days. I used them to make density columns with candy. They actually worked out great in these smaller tubes and though they are a grey translucent, we could still see the different colors in the column. I will be ordering them again to do density columns.

If you were wondering, like I was, what batteries will these hold? Well, these are deceptively thick and short, so the insides are narrower than I'm used to with preforms... they are simply tank-like, though and the quality is top notch. So....???? You'll get 2 AA's stacked, or 3 CR123'. Both will fit with a bit of room at the top for some cushioning. Anything with a bigger circumference than a 123 will NOT FIT! My protected, and unprotected 18650's did not fit, nor did any of my IMR's. Cannot deny the price and the quality, just be aware of the size. I will be buying more...

Great for peppers"¦ i keep medicines, fire starters, liquids like Hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, lidocaine, pills etc. in my long term med kit.. these could be used a mini burial caches, for ammo, etc. They are small but larger ones are available"¦ It would take a lot to crush them. they are water tight..
