4 tablespoons poi, 1 cup water, juice of 1 lemon. Makes an excellent sour poi of left to "bloom" in fridge for 6-24 hours. The longer it sits the less gritty.
More detailed instructions!

Very important to include more detailed instructions to prepare it. We knew how but most mainland folks don't have a clue so it tends to be grainy.

I get this for my mother, we are from the 8slands. She has cancer on her pallet in her mouth. So with this and steamed fish she can eat without chewing. And it helps her gain a little weight. I bought 5 pounds figured that I can order more in a few weeks or in not sooner. Aloha and mahalo
