Works, but not well as I expected

It looks good in the picture but it does not work as well in a book. Perhaps smaller books but I am using it in a standard hymnal and it has been very cumbersome to use ealily.
The clip falls off easily if you don't secure it tightly with multiple pages

I bought this because of the reviews that I've seen. I tried to use it on a music book, and it's does not hold the pages. It's also hard to turn the pages of the book. You have to take the clip off and re-position it with multiple pages. The clip falls off easily if you don't secure it tightly with multiple pages. DO NOT BUY THIS. I stopped using it because it does not work.

This clip has.proven invaluable to me as a piano player, of sorts. I returned to the piano after several years. I had some well worn music books, but they still fell together if not harnessed. This clip does the trick. The only bad thing about it is it will be impossible to turn the page without unharnassing the clip. But the fact that it works well in rather thick music books makes up for any negative. Bravo!
