If you have to rake leaves and have a riding mower, GET THIS!!!!

Best $67 I've ever spent. At 57 and having hurt my back initially 30 years ago, raking and even using the leaf blower gets more difficult every year. With this it takes me half the time and effort, and I can still walk afterwards. The catcher that came with my mower holds only 3.5 bushels. Simple attachment with drawstrings, drive up to the curb, loosen the drawstrings, dump the leaves, and I'm done with one trip to empty the bag instead of stopping every 3 or 4 passes. No more cleaning up leaves in the dark!!!

Go with Terra King instead...

Ordered this bag and the Terra King bag to test them both. They are basically the same price but the poly material of the Terra King bag is superior to the cotton fabric of these. The Terra King ones slide better, gets less dirty and is better made. Also, Terra King has much better quality closure cordage (poly vs cotton) and cord locks. I ended up getting 4 Terra Kings and just stack them on my trailer to take to recycler. The only down side of these bags is that they are a little tedious to empty - hence the 4 bags :).

I'm currently in charge of six lawns. They range from one acre and under. All of them have lots of leaves. I've used these bag on wet and dry leaves and have yet to put a snag in one. If you get one make sure you pull it up as tight as possible to your catcher shoot. If not when the bag gets heavy it'll get a gap and blow the leaves out on you. Also these things can get heavy when full of wet leaves. All in all a great ropuct and time saver for me

This bag works great. It takes a little adjusting to get it to stay just right and I AM making a 'tarp sled' for it just to make it last longer. It's as light as a feather (basically a giant pillow case with a cinch rope on one end) goes on and off in seconds. The ONLY raking I had to do this year was along the fence line where the tractor cant quite get to but I just rake it out and drive around the yard like I'm mowin' the lawn! PLUS with the leaves mulched up I use one of those plastic chutes in the paper bags and shovel the leaves in with a large plastic snow shovel (again real light). I would guess that from the old days of raking the entire yard (yuck!!) my labor has been reduced by 70-80%! When (if) it DOES someday wear out, I WILL buy another!
