I use this thread for reupholstering my daughter's antique chair cushions and it is fantastic. I used it on my juki tl-2000qi but it may be too heavy for a standard sewing machine so keep that in mind.

Solid smooth thread. Purchased the chocolate color last year and was so impressed I got the black. I use it to sew heavy duty dacron straps. Can't beat the price and quality. Wish the inside of the cones were small diameter so it would fit on my spool holder, however.

Used it for many things: repaired my Army combat boots, made a "woobie" quilt, and fixed a boy scout uniform. Put a cork in the base and make a hole in the cork to put it on the bobbin spindle of a non-commercial sewing machine and it will feed more smoothly. A needle with a slightly bigger eye is preferable. For leatherwork, it loads onto a sewing awl well.
