Sounds great for what it is

Replaced stock components on an early 90's Ibanez strat clone. dropped right in, just needed to solder jack and wire to bridge. Sounds great for what it is. nice clean tone, sustain is good. I measured the two singles at 6.17k and 6.13k, and the humbucker was 13.7k. the pick guard is beautiful, and almost worth the entire price on its own :) i would not hesitate to replace old chinese components with these. at the very least it will sound like it did when it was new, but for me i actually got a boos in volume, tone, nd sustain over the old parts...

Rebuilding an inexpensive strat clone (pawn shop deal!) and needed to refresh the ultra cheap components. This worked very well. First off - it really looks great on a black strat body. Installation was easy - though I had to cut the box out a bit a bit to get everything to fit flush (this is normal). Wiring was super easy even with my rudimentary soldering skills. Most importantly though - for an inexpensive set-up the pick-ups have a nice clean sound. Recommend this product!!
