Protect your circuit boards!

Recommended by the appliance store for protection of new washer. Works and functions as intended. I would say this is a fine product to protect those expensive circuit boards from power spikes.

Installed on a dumbwaiter to protect electronics. Power goes put often here and the delay prevents the nasty surge rhat occurs when the power returns - especially when it repeats several times before either staying off or coming back on.

Our new computer board operated washing machine (apparently they're all computer based now) and our pre-Civil War built house did not get along together. Apparently, the computer boards are extremely sensitive and any fluctuation at all in electrical current blows the boards and shuts the appliance down. This surge protector has solved the problem. We're three months out from the last washing machine service call (to replace another computer board) and have had no problems at all since plugging our washing machine into the surge protector.
Great Product - Protects Major Appliances Against Power Surges

We live in the mountains, and sometimes our lights can flash 3-4 times during a storm with the occasional power outage. After we had a power pole flare up and cause damage to a lot of our appliances, I was determined that it wasn't going to happen again if I could help it. I have purchased one of the these for each major appliance in our house (and major to me is how much of an inconvenience and expense will it cause me if it fails). These have gotten us through a multitude of storms and outages since. I like the fact that there is a built-in power up delay to protect the surges until the power is consistently restored. Great product !
