Only thing that kills Doveweed.
Gets rid of a lot of broadleaf weeds and slows the crabgrass down.

Used for dandelion and thistle primarily. One application on .5 acre grass in May and I still don't have dandelions back. Good product. Used in conjunction with Talstar p for insects.

Bought Blindside after seeing reviews by The Lawn Care Nut on Youtube. I live in Central West Florida just below St Pete, and had a mix of grasses that I'm trying to push to mostly St Augustine (1/3 acre). I have a mix of about half St Augustine Grass, one quarter Fescue Grass, and the rest a mix of Crab Grass, Dollar Weed, Nutsedge and other weeds. I started last year with MSM $20 because of the low price, and then added a few packets of $20 Sedgehammer Plus Turf Herbicide to kill the Nutsedge. The MSM worked well on the Dollar Weed, and other general weeds, but took a long time to be effective and did not kill Nutsedge or Crab Grasses. The Sedghammer Plus worked great on the Nutsedge, but is very expensive for even small amounts. Next added Tenacity Turf Herbicide ($60) to kill the nutsedge (Yellow) which it does (not as well as Sedgehammer), but it turns the grasses and weeds it kills white, which looks terrible for over a month. Ended up using a mix of one half MSM and one half Tenacity for the last six months which worked well up to a point with very little whitening. Still had various Crab grasses, Doveweed, Nutsedge, and the Dollar Weed keeps popping its head out and grows like rabbits. Well broke down and got Blindside $120 and applied as instructed on February 11th ( 78F Sunny), because it was warming up much sooner then usual. After two weeks it has done just what it was suppose to. Crab Grasses are died or dying, Nutsedge is 98% gone and many other odd weeds are gone also. I'm now 95% done with the Weeds, Crab Grasses and Nutsedge. Just put down a second spraying of Blindside at 2/3 strength to kill off the few sick looking stragglers. So far St Augustine grass looks great and I'm happy. If I had to do it all over I would only buy the Blindside and maybe the MSM. That way I can switch it up and get everything I need.

Also purchased the Chapin 63985 4-Gallon Wide Mouth 20v Battery Backpack Sprayer, because I have all the other Black and Decker battery operated yard products and it works great.
Works in central Florida well.

Blindside is probably the best and easiest to use/measure product that I've found that is truly effective for killing all types of sedges/Kyllinga including purple nutsedge. The key is to just follow the directions 100% and you will have excellent results. Multiple applications may be necessary to control the purple nutsedge. However, this is a fantastic product and if you use it according to the directions, you will be very happy. One last note- make sure to be patient because it can take up to three maybe four weeks for it to completely kill weeds sprayed with it. It's best to use this product two days after mowing so that you can really allow the product to be absorbed into the sprouting sedge leaves.
