Best transport chair ever. I have been in a wheelchair for over 23 years and have used many different chairs over the years and the vast majority of them being transport versions. I haven't been able to find one that is more perfect than this one is and believe me I've searched everywhere. The main reasons I love it so much are it has desk length arms, the seating is far superior to any transport chair I've ever had and it came in 16 in seat width which you can hardly ever find. My husband loves it too because it is so light and easier on his back. Love, love, love it!

Pros are that it is a comfortable chair and a good size to fit in our interior doorways. The con: I had purchased this because it was the nicest looking one with hand brakes. However, I was very disappointed in that the handbrakes do not lock! They work pretty much like a bicycle hand brake...which is totally useless for my needs. I still have to reach down to the brake mechanism at the wheel to keep the chair in a locked position. Very annoying. This was a pricier wheelchair to begin with....if I had known the handbrakes were non functional as to my needs I would have never purchased it. The only good thing is that normally the company wants over a hundred fifty dollars more for the hand brake feature and I found it on Amazon for the same price as one without hand brakes...so at least I didn't invest the extra money for it.

We purchased this chair so that I could attend events where there'd be crowds since my balance is not good and people bumping into me could cause a fall. Couldn't be more pleased. Very lightweight and easy on my husbands back getting it in and out of the trunk. Doesn't take up too much space and it's easy to fold up. Very comfy for long term sitting (two hours straight during graduation). Brakes are steady and secure. Easy for both person in chair and person pushing chair to apply. Fast delivery, easy assembly. I'm 5'6" and 110 lbs and the 16 inch chair just fits with a bit of room for a winter coat or blanket around the hips. If I gained any weight at all though this chair wouldn't be wide enough through the seat. Excellent purchase and good value for the price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend highly to friends.
