The idea is nice, but the reality isn't what I expected. I thought the water would shoot out the tips of the comb so as to better remove items from inside the filter. That is not the case. It sprays from above the comb resulting in a major drenching of whoever is cleaning the filter, and the comb is rather ineffective.

My aquacomb came labeled for dog grooming. I think that would be a better use for this. If you are not careful you can damage your filter. That happened to me twice. It also squirts water in your face just like a nozzle sprayer. On my filters the pleats were too close and the teeth too far apart and it would miss areas of the filter. If you use this comb, be careful and go slowly to avoid tearing the filter.

I'm not one to do reviews, but I must. This is worth every penny and I don't think I could go without one as long as I have my spa now.
