This pot is perfect for making most Kimchi recipes. I'm hugely disappointed that it is no longer available, as I would have given one to a couple of friends. Update: I put a recipe of Kimchi in this and put it in the back of the fridge and forgot about it. Naturally, that meant that I forgot to add water to the "moat" that the lid fits into. Several weeks later, I realized it was there. I dreaded opening it. But when I did, there was not a bit of mold in it. Just liquid from the completely fermented veggies. Amazing.

This crock is very beautiful and extremely high quality. Because this item is very decorative, it will be proudly displayed in plain view. It is much smaller than I had envisioned, but it is exactly the same as it was advertised and described. This item stands 6 inches tall without the lid on it.
