Well I bought to sets of these wireless modules to install rear mounted cams in my full size van and my Honda civic.
Both cams have video cutting out due to interference form other WiFi or Cell tower signals over powering the wireless module signal. Just a fact of life these days since WiFi and Cell tower signals cause interference on the frequency band these modules also use. The Honda 12V power also causes some noise but not enough to prevent you from seeing the video. You can correct this 12V noise by installing a filter. Just Google it to find a fix for this 12V noise issue.

If used for reverse only, you should have no issues and be satisfied.

The first transmitter did not work. The power wires are so thin, you have to solder and shrink wrap thicker wire to it in order to make connections. The transmitter if always on interfered with the TPMS ( Tire Pressure Monitoring System ) I ended up paying over $200 to have all the sensors replaced before I realized what was going on. :( The quality of the image exceeds the price, there is however the occasional glitch. The head unit I have allowed you to select always on for the rear camera. The image would freeze every few minutes. IDK if that is the head unit, the TX Rx or the camera. If used for reverse only, you should have no issues and be satisfied.
Easy to install.. results better than expected

I was hesitant purchasing a wireless setup like this, as really this only eliminates on cable from having to be run from the back of the car to the dash, however it is very cool that the image can be sent to the monitor wirelessly and saves the time of having to run the video cable. My initial reaction after installing this set up was high, however after driving around a bit, it seems sometimes there is static in the signal.. I'm going to play with the little receivers as they may be obstructed by metal or something.. for now, still 5 stars!

I'll give this 3 stars only. It is an easy install and small enough you can hide it about anywhere. The problem I see is that the range is very poor.. mounted on a 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee in direct line of site to one another it is not a steady connection, signal drops quite a bit when in use and also had to wire this up to a switch because power feeds through the receiver and makes it to the screen causing it to flash repeatly non stop. So every time I want to use it backing up I need to flip the power switch, back up, then turn it back off to stop the screen from flickering/flashing.
Awesome WIRELESS video transmitter!!

I bought these to add a wireless backup camera to my rv. I already added a wired camera to my truck and found that I loved the convenience. I have a very difficult time backing the rv up the driveway and ensuring I don't get the tires in the ditch or hit the mailbox. These transmitters do a great job of sending video from the back of my 32 foot rv to the cab of my truck with a lot of metal, wiring and matter in between. I was very surprised how good the picture quality was from such an inexpensive setup. I bought this transmitter for 7$, the camera for 20$, 10$ for extra wire and connectors and I was in business. On a side note, I added this to a monitor that already was in the truck with an extra video jack for a second video source. I am super happy with the purchase and look forward to easier travels in the future.
