An awesome investment. I cleaned in 1/2 hour what would have taken 6 hrs with a knife. It took me 5 minutes and 2 test runs to set the knife depth to the right position for the wire gauge with which I was working. I love this machine
Once you get the rhythm down its great. Beats stripping by hand for sure

Put over 1000' of copper wire through it the first weekend I had it, once set to the proper depth it eats up wire nicely in a fraction of the time. Only problem I had was if I left phase tape on, sometimes it would gum up the rollers... Nothing a wire brush couldn't fix within seconds. Love this thing, wish I had gotten it years ago

I had been looking for a long time to find a machine to strip a pile of copper wire, about 700 lbs., that was inexpensive and easy to use. I found this one and I couldn't be happier. After about 5 minutes setting it up, it took less than 2 hours to strip the whole pile. I didn't have any idea that it would be that fast but it did the trick without any problems at all. The price was very good and the workmanship and quality of the machine was way beyond what I expected. I bought an extra cutter wheel, just in case but the one that came with the machine, after stripping the pile, looked as if it hadn't been used. If you have any copper wire to strip from 1/4" to 1" in dia. this is the ticket.
