This blood pressure kit is great for a student. It is cheap, and gets the job done. Using it in a class of young, healthy people with strong blood pressure it is good enough to hear what you need to in order to learn how to take the pressure. However, for actual use in a medial field I would recommend investing in a higher quality piece. The plastic covering on the stethoscope head is low quality - the smaller side of mine became dented very quickly just by taking it in and out of the carrying case - which you can kid of see in the second photo. Even without the dent, there is a lot of background noise when listening for a pulse. It is hard (but not impossible) to hear weak pulses with this stethoscope. The cuff, pump, and sphygmomanometer are all great and I've had no issues. This is a great kit to start with, but I'd plan to upgrade relatively soon after or use stethoscopes provided by a workplace.

Cute color choices. Sound quality of stethoscope is decent. It comes with 3 earpiece choices for comfort and fit. Very accurate compared to readings in my doctor's office. Easy to use in general but difficult on oneself! Seems durable but time will tell. Good quality for a cheap price. They can improve the instructions.
