So the camp I take my puppy to has these little cot/hammock beds in the individual kennels. I didn't know how she would do sleeping on anything other than her super plush bed, that she has chewed to shreds LOL. I needed to get her a new bed and thought, heh, she seemed to like the one in her camp kennel and maybe she can't chew this one! Now I don't know if she will chew it (she will try I'm sure), but she hopped right up and took to it!! I mean look at how cute and happy she is!

Our dogs love sunning themselves on this bed. We are glad they like to use this instead of laying in the yard where there might be chiggers or something dirty that they could bring back into the house or into our chairs.
The only negative thing, after about 7 years the stitching gave away so they would sag almost to the ground. We ordered a new cover but could not get the screws out because they had rusted and the soft metal heads reamed out when trying to unscrew them with various tools including an impact driver. Ended up having to purchase a whole entire brand new unit. Therefore I would highly recommend putting some kind of heavy grease on the threads to keep them from rusting. On the old frame, I can't even remove the rusted long screws even when clamped into a vise. We'll end up trying to build some kind of PVC cross members for the two side pieces of the frame, so I can resurrect the old frame and use the new bed cover that we purchased for it.

We use this mesh beds on our deck. They have been rained and snowed on, and sitting under 100 degrees in Tennessee summer at times for over six years. We couldn't unscrew one of screws to replace the cover on one of old beds. Otherwise we didn't have to order another one. The new one has a better design to protect screws. This product is way worth more than what it costs. Most of all, my dogs love it!

I bought the largest version of this, hoping my Irish Wolfhound could fit. I was happy to discover he does! Despite being a little wary of this new thing in his life, he does seem to enjoy lying on it. For reference, my Wolfie is 33" tall at the shoulder and weighs 135#. Yet, as the picture shows, he fits comfortably.
The only dings I give the product is the cheap threadings for assembly. To say they are tight and tough to drive is an understatement--especially the last one when everything is under tension. The instructions advise not to fully tighten the screws right away. I would go further and say tighten them just enough to have a good, solid bite of the threads. That way, there's more play in the frame for further assembly. Something I did, which made it all *much* easier, was to put a little soft soap on both the female and male threads. After doing so, the process was a snap. I recommend anyone buying one to do the same. (Bar soap should work, too. You just won't be able to get the female threads lubricated.)
All in all, it's a decent bed and fits my needs. Note of I'd only assembled it on a blanket so it didn't get scratched before first use!

I bought one before sumar and both dogs love it! Only one dog shown in photo, but it was an instant hit. Ordered a second one for inside the house and they couldn't be happier! I did have to remove the stitched in Coolaroo tags because the puppy chewed on them. It was an easy job with an old school stitch remover tool, but a small pair of scissors or exacto knife would do the job.
