Good product if you need Dish eastern arc satellites

We travel in our RV and wanted eastern arc capability. Swapped the western arc LNBs out with these. Just took a few minutes. I downloaded the 1000.4 manual to get the Eastern Arc satellite reflector angles. I had trouble getting the two satellites, but it was purely operator error. After checking the settings about 5 times I realized my mistake (had the wrong skew) and had the satellites shortly thereafter. It will be nice having the option of aiming southeast or southwest as we travel and need to avoid trees, etc. in campgrounds.

Good product. Can be difficult to install and align if you dont know what you're doing (not this products fault)

I bought this to convert my existing 1000.2 western arc dish to eastern arc. It was difficult for me to find a good spot for the old western arc dish due to trees and buildings. I have a clear shot at EA 62 and 72 satilites. If you know what you're doing and can aim a satillite dish, this is an easy drop in replacement so I rated it 5 stars.

Unfortunately, I didnt really know what I was doing and have a lot to learn about aiming multi satillite dishes. So I wasted an entire day trying to set this up and use it with my Dish VIP211z receiver. I was able to find Sat 62, but I could not find 72 using the dish point menu of my receiver. To make a long story short, it seems you have to reset the box a few times and do at least one or two switch tests to get the receiver to recognize both LNBs and to allow you to receive programming from both satillites. None of my problems have anything to do with this product, which seems like a perfect replacement.
