I am SO happy to have found carob chips the way I remember them tasting in my youth! These are perfect. Not too waxy or sour like some other brands I've bought recently. Even my 12 year old liked them!
Not enough chocolate flavor

For someone who loves dark chocolate but can no longer have it because of an allergy, I decided to try carob chips. However, they don't really taste chocolatey at all. It gets the job done if you just want to make cookies seem like they have chocolate chips in them, but you're definitely not going to want to snack on these. Maybe that's a good thing. Time to just get over the chocolate cravings...

You don't know how happy, real real happy to find Carob!! I have been allergic to chocolate since I can remember & there used to be a candy store that sold carob covered raisin, nuts, malt balls, etc...... I haven't been able to find Carob anything in the past 23 years till now!! I love having these for cookies & baking brownies! I also bought Carob Powder.
Taste just like chocolate chips!

I can't tell the difference between carob drops and chocolate chips! I've only used these for making healthy home-made dog treats so far, and the dogs love them! These carob drops are great, although, I don't enjoy the price.

These are okay tasting in a pinch. If I can't find better on Amazon, I'll ask my local health food store to start carrying their brand again. Not a lot of people eat carob any more I guess (??), only one store in my area carries them now. And while they may taste better, they're also highway robbery! Also, as another person stated, these are NOT good for you. Hydrogenated oils, etc.
