Everyone needs to have these for A/C spares
Texas_Mark•October 10, 2017
Everyone should have a spare A/C run capacitor and a spare A/C start capacitor. That's 90% of the A/C problems. Just replace and BOOM, cold air. :-)
Works as expected

After doing research online to solve our air conditioner problem, this part got our conditioner up and running again! A little research and confidence saves a lot of money!
A/C Back Online

My Armstrong heat pump has been almost trouble free for 20 years. Last year a contactor went out and it was a couple hundred to have that fixed. A couple days back the condenser fan stopped spinning but the compressor still ran so I knew it had to be the run capacitor or fan motor. If the motor was bad I would be replacing the run cap anyway so I ordered this one since it was the least expensive. A five minute install and niw cool air is blowing again.
The only differences between this one and the old one were this one is about two inches longer and has just one connection for the fan.

Great value.

When my TRANE AC condenser stopped working my first thought was this is going to be expensive. After a little research I learned it could be something as simple as a bad/blown capacitor. I noticed the existing capacitor was bulging so I bought this inexpensive replacement. 30 minutes of installation time later and my AC was back up and running. This capacitor is a little smaller than the original and required a space to be used with the mounting bracket. Used for one summer so far. Great value.
Purchased part to repair church's condenser unit for choir room ...

Purchased part to repair church's condenser unit for choir room. Installed and the unit works perfectly. The last time we had a contractor out to replace a capacitor it cost over $200. Since then I have replace others using Amazon and by matching up the ratings. All have worked perfectly. I have saved the church and myself several hundred dollars.
Note: check your units and order BEFORE you need them. Wise to have them on hand!
