Highly recommend Grainger wanted $70 bucks for same part paid less than $25 for two. At this price it's nice to have a standby because these things will wait till its upper 90s low 100s to go out for some reason lol
SENT WRONG SIZE..SUPPOSED TO BE 4 x 2 x 2 received a 4 x 2.5 x 2.5. TOO BIG FOR MY AC UNIT..

CAUTION: item size description is 4"x 2"x 2" brand is Packard. I received a TitanPro brand which is fine BUT it was 4"x 2.5"x 2.5" which is too big and will not fit my particular ac unit. My ac has a dedicated space that only fits a 2" round capacitor. There's no way to make it fit. even if I could the cover wouldn't go back on. I gave it 2 stars because they immediately refunded my order back to my account and said that I didn't have to return it. Really wish it would've fit..it's hot as balls today...
it is better for me to have a bunch of these on ...

These capacitors take a beating from my old Lennox system in hot and humid Texas, they last about 2 summers before failing. The fail safety works perfectly, I have not had one leak after it fails. For the price, it is better for me to have a bunch of these on hand, rather than spend thousands of dollars replacing a 20 year old AC system.
This 55/5 mfd capacitor lasted 10 months and then shorted ...

This 55/5 mfd capacitor lasted 10 months and then shorted. They should last longer than that. Luckily, I was able to borrow the cap from our other unit and we were only without A/C for 30 minutes. Now I am buying another brand and a spare.

The 55F side worked but the 5F side for the fan was dead, reads 0F. Returning for a replacement, will update my review if the next one works better. I took a video of the reading available at [...]
I bought 2 other capacitors from the same manufacturer at the same time and they have the correct capacitance for the fan terminal.
