We have this coffee maker installed in our recently remodeled kitchen. This machine brews a wonderfully smooth cup of coffee, and it has all sorts of adjustable settings that I've barely begun to even mess around with. Maybe it's a little bit of a placebo effect, maybe it's partly the water line filtration, but I can definitely taste a day and night difference even on the default settings with our usual 'blah' brand of coffee. The good stuff, the more exotic blends? Out of this world.
The unit itself has the lower profile, so it's prefectly suited for standard height counter space without having to worry about it fitting under the overhead cabinets. No, sadly it does not seem to have a timer. I don't personally see any need since it brews a 64 ounce pot of coffee in well under five minutes, and there's no more pouring grungy tap water into a hopper or any of that. The basket is all metal, which is something you don't seem to get from the competition any more. The hot water tap is also definitely something we use as well. It makes a cup of tea for the nighttime or some instant oatmeal for the kids at breakfast.
Having owned it for a few weeks now, I would say it's a top notch product. One must bear in mind however that this is a commercial grade product. It may be overkill for a household that doesn't crush five-plus pots of coffee every day, but it's definitely something that we're very happy with.

This coffee brewer cannot be programmed for Auto-Brew. For the price (and today's technology) it would make sense this coffee brewer could be programmed to make a cup of coffee automatically in the mornings. Don't understand why not.

I have owned dozens of coffee machines only this one has lasted, Over 2 years now and it still makes fantastic hot coffee. I had 1 mishap The computer on it went bad soon after purchase, but they sent a repair person to my house to fix it FREE. Unlike many others it hasn't leaked, burndout, exploded, melted, and doesn't dump water / coffee every time you pour a drink.
