I really like the espoma line. I got & applied the weed/fertilizer a month too late last year, still definitely helped avoid some new growth. The best praise I have is that my direct neighbors use chemicals and overall my lawn is in solid shape. I really think they're wasting their money and risking chemical exposure with their pets & kids for no reason.

Main advice is to buy these in advance, can be hard to find in stock all espoma products. I was able to buy from amazon last year, and I already bought the summer & fall for this year, just picked this up from Ace Hardware because Amazon ran out.

Works great

When I first put the fertilizer on the lawn, it smelled quite a lot. But unlike other organic fertilizers that I have used in the past, the smell went away as soon as I watered it. It didn't linger, which I was grateful for.

Put this on the lawn for the first time this year. We will see what the lawn looks like come after winter. I like the fact that it is safe my my dogs to be around and I don't have to worry about any harmful affects on them or the environment.
