Excellent product, works quickly and accurately.

This works wonderfully! I purchased this to use when I was working in palliative care, many of the facilities I was working in did not have the ability to get a pulse ox. This is a powerful little machine that gives an accurate reading when compared to hospital grade pulse ox (I tested it several times with different patients). It is easy to wipe off and the reading comes up in a matter of seconds. It is invaluable for the price and comes with the carrying case to protect it. I have used it for about a year without difficulties. I would highly recommend this to professionals who work in the home or long term care setting as well as for personal use.
Good Choice

I thought the price for this one was good. not too cheap to be overly concerned about quality and not too expensive to ask why did i spend so much on this. Comes with a cute little case and a strap which I always like for a bit of protection for anything electronic that
I may need to carry around with me. So far response seems good and of course, as it is something that fluctuates a lot or can depending on your heart rate and oxygen level, it would be hard to really know how accurate this item is as with any other you might buy. I just hope for everyone that you get the numbers you need to keep your mind safe and protected.

I purchased this for a friend in a nursing home who wanted something she could monitor her own oxygen level with, as she did not feel the nurses were taking the measurements often enough. The lanyard makes it possible for her to keep around her neck or to loop around her bedrail, so that is great! She has had it for more than a year now, and I only had to replace the batteries once so far (and she takes her O2 level at least twice a day).
As far as accuracy goes, when my friend first got this, for a couple of days the nurses at the nursing home used their oximeter and then she used her own and the readings were exactly the same! So now when she tells them her O2 level is down, they know it really is!

Best Price For An Accurate Oximeter
One Putt•October 19, 2014
I have purchased several oximeters from Amazon. Stay away from the Contec CMS-50 as I have had to return 2 out of 2 of them. I have a Finger Pulse Oximeter SM-110 by Santamedical. It is much better, but will cost you about 40 bucks. I don't pay much attention to pulse rates on these, as my concern is with my oxygen saturation levels.
This has the same appearance ( except color ) as my SM-110, and appears to work just as well . I think the search for an affordable quality oximeter is finally over!!! I am so happy with this I just ordered another. I have done my homework here, & I hope this helps!

Thankful for such an accurate oximeter, it prompted much needed emergency treatment!

I bought this almost 6 months ago and have used it several times already but I was not sure how accurate it really was so I admittedly took readings with a grain of salt. Unfortunately, I am writing this review from the Emergency Room of our local children's hospital and I am so thankful I purchased this oximeter! Our asthmatic child was showing a very low reading (82) today but is a happy wheezer (no to low external symptoms while inflammation is building up inside which goes into crisis quickly) and I doubted it could be true but brought him into the ER assuming I'd rather be safe than sorry. It was spot on, exactly within 1-2 seconds it would match the oxygen level and the heart rate of the machine in triage, then both machines in the two rooms our child was treated in. (I've checked wondering if it could really be that accurate). I am extremely impressed and thankful that I trusted it's accuracy today when my child needed treatment.
