The only thing wrong with this is the timer. Once it's on, it's on for 10 hours unless you manually turn it off. So if you fall asleep , you wake up roasting!

I read the reviews before I bought the blanket and was perplexed by the descriptions of it being "slippery". Now I get it. We sleep with a top sheet, the warming blanket, and a comforter on top. No matter how orderly the layers are at night, by morning time they've shifted like tectonic plates. It's remarkable really, that the blanket can go one way and the comforter another. If you're the kind of person who makes their bed everyday anyway, then you shouldn't be too bothered. I'm not one of those people but I'm not too bothered either. The warming blankets warms and that's what matters.

It is a very soft and plush blanket. It is heavier than I expected and warmer than anticipated. Because it is a rather heavy blanket (seems like a "weighted" blanket) it's easy to get too warm. I use the L setting and still get too warm at times. It heats up fast which I like. I like to "preheat" to warm the bed before I get in bed. Overall a very nice blanket.

Love the pre-heat function

I bought this blanket based on it's inclusion of a pre-heat function. I usually turn it on a couple of hours before I go to bed to get the bed itself warm. By the time I go to bed it's nice and toasty. But that's not the best feature of pre-heat. If you forget to pre-warm the bed, or if you are just plain really cold, you can turn it on to pre-heat and toast yourself without the fear of waking up at 3am feeling like a baked potato because the blanket will come out of pre-heat and revert to whatever your usual setting might be, mine is 2. This is a wonderful feature.
Now the bad points, both of which I can live with.
It's a heavy electric blanket. It's pretty warm without even turning it on. For me, it's not a good blanked for fall. It's a winter blanket.
The other problem I have has been reported by other reviewers, it's a slippery thing. It like to slide off the bed.
Overall, I like the blanket and can overlook it's shortcomings.
