I love this hachet. It came sharp and I've used it to cut down some branches and some vines. And the pointed end is great for climbing trees. Just be careful the blade is sharp.
Great Wall Hanger - Poor Camping Hatchet
adam6979December 15, 2015
This is a toy, except it is too sharp to give to the kids. If you want a nice piece to hang on the wall, this will do fine. It looks pretty nice. But to use as a camping hatchet it is worthless. The lack of weight gives no force to cut with. Sure it will slice plastic wrap, but will not cut wood.
Terrible

Complete piece of crap. Low quality metal and craftsmanship. The paracord has been the only useful part of the hatchet. The blade came dull and doesn't hold an edge well. Also the design of the handle is very uncomfortable and ineffective. Ended up buying a Fiskars X7 and it is well worth the $. I would not recommend buying this unless you just want something that looks like a weapon and is for decoration only.
Not a bad choice for a beginning blade thrower

I sharpened this up pretty nice and, one you get the hang of it, it's a great throwing axe. Imagine yourself as Hawkeye in Last of the Mohicans and you'll have a great time. I'm a complete novice at throwing bladed weapons, but I picked this up pretty fast. I am a little concerned about the cord wrappings on the handle. They slide out of place fairly easily.
