I bought this for a hunting trip in WA. Lots of pockets, and the padded shoulders make carrying a rifle strap bearable over long distance. I ordered a larger one than I needed because I needed it as an outside layer in high elevation. I wore it over thermals, a sweater and a jacket. I'm 6' 240lbs and I ordered a 2XL but wished I had got an XL instead, I felt a little flappy up on the mountain. I'll probably give this to my brother and buy one size smaller. It's bright orange, which is good, I don't want a bumbling hunter to mistake me for a deer and blow me out of my boots.

THE ONLY THING HE WOULD HAVE HAD DIFFERENT IS HE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ACCESS THE GAME BAG ON THE BACK OF THE VEST WITHOUT TAKING IT OFF. THIS ONE HAS A BIG POCKET WITH A ZIPPER ACROSS THE TOP. YOU MUST TAKE IT OFF TO PUT ANYTHING IN IT OR TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF IT. HE LIKES THAT IT IS MADE OF FABRIC THAT IS NOT NOISY.

Great hunting vest, but don't be fooled by the claim that burrs won't stick to it. Also it foolishly has Velcro on the pocket flaps. Still like it though, and would buy again.
