Love the comforter! but the sheets are VERY rough, thin and scratchy. Plus the hold a ton of static. You get what you pay for though.

I gave this to my grandaughter almost 3 years ago. For what I paid for it....it served it's purpose, and I figured if it lasted at least a year or two it would be wonderful. Well, I just came to visit, and she is still using it. It looks amazing, almost brand new. No pilling of the fabric, no shifting or bunching of the batting inside. I have paid upwards of $200 for other sets (not children's) and have had them bunch and pill. I seldom leave reviews, because I expect what I buy to perform as stated. I think I paid about $40 for this set. I would Highly recommend this to anyone wishing to purchase a girls comforter set.

Depends on what you consider "Ultra Soft". It's not got that cotton-y feel. It's slippery and very nylon feeling. I bought it for my seven year old granddaughter and she was in awe of how pretty it looked in the guest room. After the first sleepover she politely asked for the old, plain cotton bedding we had before.
