Waterproof and great fit! Velcro is a little tough to get on right, but once on they stay in place. Hiked about ten hours with them with no issue.

Very well-designed, well-made. They are easy to use, fit great, and do an excellent job at keeping out snow.

These things are simply the only option for women's gaiters. They do the job and hold up really well. Mine are still in good shape structurally after 5 years of hard frequent use. They do get to a point where they just can't be rewaterproofed anymore. We'll worth the investment and I'll replace them with another pair of the same.

I purchased my OR Crocos more than 25 years ago. At the time, they were VERY expensive (to me). But, I still have them and use them several times every winter for snowshoeing. So, when it came time to get my wife gaiters, there was only one brand I trusted, OR. Unlike many other upper end outdoor gear manufactures who sold out by making cheaper 'consumer' versions of their products (you know your brand is headed in the wrong direction when you can buy it in membership warehouse stores). OR has not. They continue to make solid, outdoor gear for serious outdoor enthusiasts! So why only 4 stars and not 5? Because these OR Verglas are not the same quality as OR Crocos. They are good, very good, just not Crocos-good. P.S. The only reason I purchased Verglas and not Crocos is because my wife wanted purple and Crocos don't come in purple. Whatever you do, spend the extra and buy OR gaiters - any model. Yes, they are that much better than other brands!

wear size 7 hiking boots. Size small fit perfectly. Waterproof but not stiff. Easy to get on and off. Have been great for hiking and snowshoeing.
