Very nice; it was a gift for someone, but I played around with it for a bit. Pieces are heavier than what I'm used to, but still very nice.

I LOVE this set. It comes with 2 queens of each color, which makes the game more fun when you get more queens during the game. I love the blue instead of green. The bag is perfect and even has a spot for the chess clock I bought, which was a decent size yet fixed perfectly. The strap over the shoulder is great and there are the handles too. The pad rolls up and the chess pieces come in ziplocks that go in the two provided zipped compartments for each color of pieces. The only reason I don't give it 4 stars is that one of the pawns had it's head broken off and many of the pieces either had markings on them or the base felt piece was a little off center. But we loved the set so much and the tripple-weight was so perfect (keeps the pieces on there without tipping even on a slightly uneven surface like an ottoman or carpet), that we decided to order a second set and just take the best of both sets to have a complete set with no markings or off center felt things, plus of course no beheaded pawn. Then we returned the one with the flaws and now we are really happy with this set. I wish we could give it 4 stars. Please do better QA on it, Wholesale Chess.

What a sharp-looking mat and bag, along with nice heavy, well-made pieces! I've been using the same chess mat for way too long, and while it's not frayed yet, there's the grunge factor. I also went for the navy squares instead of traditional green, which I'm so happy I did.
