Fantastic Racks For The Price - I've already had a 29' ladder on the racks with no problems.

These racks are fantastic for the price you pay. After reading some reviews about potential rusting, I sprayed mine with Rustoleum before putting it on my truck. I used clamps on mine - 8 total. You have to use at least 2 per rack. These are the ones I purchased - API KH1P4 Mounting Clamps for Truck Caps / Camper Shells (Set of 4).
I drive a 2010 GMC Sierra and carry ladders almost daily. I've had a 29 footer on there with no problem driving 65mph. I haven't put our 40 footer on there yet, but it will be fine. The racks are very sturdy.

Watch the size.

Good unit, a few paint scratches but it will get more with use anyway. I have a 2007 Ranger with a long bed. I had to cut the top sections down about 1-2" on each side to make it fit. That said, having to cut it with a saws-all I saw that this is really a tough kit. I'll put it this way, if you load it enough to bend it you'll likely end up messing up the bed of your truck.
Great for the price and function! Take precautions for rust, water and fading of poor paint otherwise great!

For the money you can't beat these period. They do have cheap paint on them however. I would recommend some rustoleum paint coverage. Consider spraying inside the tubes as well. Also, water will get in the tubes where you slide them together. You will need to find a way to counter that by occasionally spraying some anti-corrosion into the tubes, painting them and or putting a seal around where they meet, caulk or something. Otherwise great product.
I own a 2015 F150 Super Crew and used clamps to hold it in place ...

YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET! I bought this rack to haul a few kayaks but didn't want to spend several hundred dollars on something I use a few times a year. The rack functions as it should which is why I gave it a 3 star rating. I own a 2015 F150 Super Crew and used clamps to hold it in place (8 total). Once mounted it was very sturdy and trust my kayaks will be secure going down the interstate. THE BAD!!!. The welds are craps and I will probably have to rebuild most of it by next year. (I welded better in middle school shop class than what is on there) Every peice had some sort of paint damage due to poor packaging. I expect to see rust within the week. Going to have to strip and repaint the entire thing after my trip to the coast this weekend.
I probably should have talked the wife into letting me buy the $400 aluminum rack but I'm stuck with this one now because the freight charge on return is almost as much as the purchase. Overall sturdy and will get the job done but the weld and paint quality are CRAP

Excellent Ladder Rack for highway use. Real confidence in your equipment.

Now this is a great ladder rack. I made the mistake of buying the one sided, removable ladder rack the first time. The one that only has support arms on one side of the truck. Don't waste your time and money with that. As you hit bumps, the one sided ladder rack will slowly destroy itself and your truck. This TMS rack bolts down simply with solidity. All four corners work together to carry the load. Installed this on an 08 Ford Rangerwith a 3/8 inch drill bit, drill, deepwell socket (17mm), wrench(17mm), allen key and red lock tight. Once your ladders are tied down, all four corners brace themselves for excellent confidence to hit the highways for the rest of your life with no worries. I mean there is no way that your ladders are going anywhere no matter how you drive. Who wants to always be looking up to wonder if you killed anyone behind you? This ladder rack won't ever give you that feeling.
