I also connected my Amazon fire to my laptop and transferred pictures easily and quickly

Low profile dongle that doesn't stick too far out of my laptop.

In Windows 10, it was plug and play. (Sort of) I plugged it in and my laptop recognized the device but it did not load device drivers. I realized my laptop was not connected to the internet and I needed internet connection to download the drivers. As soon as I connected to the web drivers were automatically downloaded and installed. I connected my Jelly Comb keyboard & my Bose Headphones with no problems. I also connected my Amazon fire to my laptop and transferred pictures easily and quickly.

Over all a great product!
Note: Quick set up guide does state " USB 2.0 port preferred if available "
Great device that gives your pc bluetooth 4.0!

This does exactly what it says it will. It has a small footprint. It doesn't stick that far out of my computer. It doesn't interfere with nearby ports. It's sort of a plug in and forget type of device. Now my PC has bluetooth connectivity. Yay!

In Windows 10, it was plug and play. I plugged it in. My PC recognized the device. I think perhaps some drivers were automatically downloaded. Then I was up and running. I connected my keyboard & my bluetooth headphones and they both paired, and continue to pair, without any difficulty or lag that I can detect. I have a bluetooth keyboard that is my daily driver which I use for both work and play (WoW) and don't have any issues. Sometimes, when waking up from sleep on my PC, there is a slight delay but I seriously can't tell if it's the adapter, mouse, keyboard, or Win10. It's not a big deal at all though and usually connects within 3-5 secs of power on.
Works as described and installs automatically with Windows 10 - make sure you use this in a USB 2.0 socket and not USB 3.0!

Works fine. I bought it to use with a DualShock 4 controller for my PC, and it works just fine for that. I've also used it to link my phone with my PC via bluetooth, and it works fine for that, too.

Installation is automatic with Windows 10. Make sure to read the packaging - you want to put this in a USB 2.0 socket, not one of the newer, blue USB 3.0 sockets!
Great experience with this manufacturer, highly recommended!

Excellent product, great value for money. There were problems with my internal built-in Bluetooth (BT) adapter that had to be bypassed in order to get this external BT product to work. Their support staff (Andy) was very helpful in helping me get it to work before AND after the MS Creator's Update. Having that great after-sales support made it worthwhile buying the product from Plugable (via Amazon). Didn't even have to call them; their e-mail was very responsive. I would highly recommend buying their products mostly for the peace of mind that they will help you if you have a problem with their products. That can no longer be said for a lot of these smaller companies based in Asia. Most manufacturers of accessories provide little to no support for their products. I highly recommend this product and the company behind it.
Works fine in Windows 8 and 10, Possible trouble with windows 7.

This was bought to use on bose QC35 headphone on windows 7. I initially had trouble using it on windows 7 with driver issues. When i contacted the support, they asked for debug file. Then they were able to provide with detailed instruction on removal and reinstallation of the driver.

Unfortunately/Fortunately, I had to reinstall windows and for some unknown reason I could not install windows 7. I ended up installing windows 10 and 8 on same machine with dual boot. With the installation of downloaded driver, it works fine.

I did have bit trouble with initial connection to the device. It would only display bose QC35 as LE with device image and headphone image. After some struggle I was able to connect the device. I think I just had to wait a while or attempted multiple times. Once connected, I did not have any problems. Keep that in mind.

Performance wise, it's great, did not have any audio or connection problem. I plugged it into front panel USB 2 slot. Range is as expected. No connection drop and problem with audio quality.
