Did you know there are average buckets and above average buckets? This bucket is white. So, right off the bat it is superior to any orange or blue buckets found at certain big box stores. This bucket has a lid. Once you figure out how to put the lid on, it goes on, and guess what...??? The lid stays on. I haven't actually tested this but it seems watertight. It is clean, too; When is the last time you have seen a clean bucket? The best part is that it is blank. There is nothing printed on it. Just a plain white bucket. If you have been lusting after a plain white bucket with a lid, look no further. This IS the bucket you have been searching for.

The lid had me struggling and then of course I read all these reviews saying it doesn't seal. I even jumped on the lid. Used a hammer. Then my husband came to help and said "I think you have to peel this rim off first." Once he did that he was able to push it on securely. I don't know why the lid says "peel to open" when it should say "peel to close" or "peel to use". I guess maybe so that I could add that the bucket will hold the weight of a small, frustrated woman without breaking.
