Read some sketch reviews, but I must say this pack is legit. No issues now atover a month in. This is my daily pack for work that stores clothes, toiletries, and some bug out emergency gear.
I've had 3 Jansports and they all last and take a beating as well.

DO NOT BUY THIS BAG! I would give it 0 stars if I could. Have hardly used this at all, just to carry laptop and my water bottle back and forth to work. The zipper in the main compartment broke and the bag is completely useless now. I had my old jansport back pack for 17 years and replaced it with this piece of garbage. Totally disappointed.
I'm really happy I bought this backpack and the price was great as well compared to other sites

Love this backpack. Took it to Europe and it was so handy. It is quite big though so European airlines consider it a carry on, so you would have to choose this or your luggage FYI. I love all the pockets it has and the padded shoulder straps. I bought luggage locks and easily put them on the zippers to secure my backpack on the plane. Jansport is my favorite brand of backpack because of their lifetime guarantee, and also their product quality. I'm really happy I bought this backpack and the price was great as well compared to other sites.

My school days are behind me, so I was looking for a professional-looking backpack for work to replace my old JanSport which one of my dogs chewed up. I was a little worried about this being too big, but it's perfect, and the tan color is a nice neutral. Holds my computer, a few files and folders, my 4-inch-thick lunch box, plus my water bottle and coffee mug. The organizer pocket is nicely designed so I can find things easily, and I can fold my jacket and slip it in as well as the pack expands nicely (and cinches when it's less full). The side pockets are deep so I don't worry about my bottle/mug falling out, the outside slip pocket is quite roomy and the placement of the zipper makes it super easy to swing the pack around and grab things out of it. Best of all, the construction of the pack makes it super comfortable to carry, as heavy as it can be at times. I read variable reviews about the "women's" version being uncomfortable, so I went with the unisex/men's one and I'm glad I did. Rests comfortably on my back and the straps are a good length apart.

So I've been using this for several weeks now for work and I like it. I just don't care for the clips at the shoulder straps and below. I may end up cutting them off. Although most stores (and MANY were researched for the best price) indicated this was UNISEX and this website said MENS, as a larger chested woman, this most definitely should be considered men's based on those stupid shoulder strap clips alone! but otherwise, it works great for my purposes.
